It seems everyone is talking social media.

So, I decided to see what the experts had to say and attended the American Marketing Association New York Capital Region “Get Social” panel discussion. These panelists shared lots of interesting and actionable information during the discussion. Including social tracking tools, potential media vendors, managing social media, creating content, image sourcing and apps to try.

I learned a bunch and have lots to research on new vendors and tools.

These experts shared lots of ideas and interesting stories. I will share one of each here, calling them my key takeaways!

Idea – I just signed up for something called “Twitter Flight School”. I cannot wait to add Twitter pilot to my resume!

Story – When you work at Stewart’s Shops Corp, employees are able to submit ideas for names of new ice cream flavors….Lauren Cifra is the brains behind Pumpkin to Talk About only available at Stewart’s .

Thanks to all!
